The Departmental Council of Corrèze classified the Argentat gravel pit site as a Sensitive Nature Area (ENS) at the end of 2018.
The objective was to create a Departmental Biodiversity Reserve on this former industrial site.Even if this is a priori unsuspected, this former quarry located in the heart of the Dordogne valley offers environments with high biological potential, rich in flora and fauna that it is essential to preserve.Discover this space, its fauna, its flora and its history thanks to this application.
